TE Harrison Bryant (10.28.22)

On how special it is to play on Monday Night Football:

“Growing up as a kid, you always watch it and you hear the theme song – Hank Williams Jr. and then Carrie Underwood – so those are the first two things you think about Monday Night Football and being the only game on. It is a huge stage and a huge opportunity to go out and not only play well personally but get a huge team win that is really needed right now.”

On potentially having the opportunity to serve as the Browns No. 1 TE on Monday night due to the uncertainty of TEs David Njoku’s and Pharaoh Brown’s availability:

“Obviously, no one really knows what is going on with people in terms of injuries in the tight end room right now. Possibly an expanded role on Monday night. My goal every week is to be prepared to have an expanded role because in terms of a game, you never know who is going to go down or what can transpire. Every week, I am preparing to have to play every snap. Whatever I am asked to do, I am just going out there doing the best of my ability and doing whatever I can to help the team win.”

On Njoku’s production in run blocking and if he can also fulfill that role if needed:

“He is doing a great job in the run game. Extremely talented in the run game and in the pass game. I am going to go out there and do whatever I can to make up for that loss. We will see. I am going to go out there and do my best. I plan on that.”

On evaluating his performance this season:

“I think I have done a pretty good job. Obviously, in every game, there are plays that you want to make or that you don’t make. This week, my goal is to go out and whatever opportunities I get to make the most of them.”
