RB Nick Chubb (12.28.22)

On if he expects to play in the next two games, given the Browns are eliminated from postseason contention:

“Yes.”

On if there was consideration of not playing the final two games of the season:

“Not at all.”

On how his foot injury held up on Saturday:

“It felt good everything about it. For the most part, I didn’t feel anything.”

On recording a game-high 92 rushing yards last week despite the frigid weather conditions:

“It was tough for sure. That is the coldest I have ever felt ever. It was great. I thought we still ran the ball pretty well. I thought we could have done little things better here and there, but overall, I think it was OK for us.”

On some Browns players wearing detachable cleats on Saturday and the state of footing during the game:

“I always wear those cleats so it didn’t change much for me.”

On the disappointment of being eliminated from playoff contention:

“It is disappointing for sure. We had our chances. We had our chances, but we didn’t make the most of it and here we are. We are who we are. We have two more times to go out there and play, and play for each other and play for the city. That is bright thing about it. It is not over yet.”

On if it is more disappointing to not reach the postseason due to missed chances and the talent currently on the roster:

“I can take a lot from that. We do have a great team. Just have to put it all together. For now, it does hurt not going to the playoffs.”

On how QB Deshaun Watson handled challenging weather conditions last week, including on the final drive:

“I thought he looked great. I don’t think it affected him at all. He was putting the ball where he needed to put it. I don’t the weather had any impact on him at all.”
