RB Nick Chubb (11.19.21)
On how he is feeling:
“I feel good.”
On if he feels like he is back to his normal self and is ready to play on Sunday:
“Yeah, I feel good.”
On his experience while on the reserve/COVID-19 list:
“Pretty boring. I did not really do anything. I just hung out at the house.”
On if he is vaccinated for COVID-19:
“Yeah.”
On if he was surprised to test positive for COVID-19:
“No. No one wants to get it, but it is what it is. I happened to get it. You can’t do much about it. There is nothing you can do.”
On how he felt during the experience:
“I felt good.”
On if he had symptoms from COVID-19:
“No, I did not really have any symptoms. I felt bad maybe one day, but other than that, I felt great.”
On if he expects and is ready to have a full workload on Sunday or may have limited opportunities after returning from the reserve/COVID-19 list:
“I am ready for whatever.”
On if it was frustrating to not be able to be with the team while on the reserve/COVID-19 list and only saying he felt bad for one day:
“I understand I could put other people at risk. That was my mindset. Even though I felt good and I could have played possibly, I still had it in my system so it was better just to wait it out, and that is what I had to do.”
On the reception from Browns teammates and RBs when returning today:
“It was good. I was happy to see everybody and happy to get back out there with the boys and get a good practice in.”
On how difficult it was to miss last week’s game, especially with the loss:
“It was hard to watch for sure. Seeing my team out there and not having it go our way, it was hard for me to watch, but it is a new week and a new opportunity. We still have everything ahead of us. We came out here, had a great practice and have to keep moving forward.”
