LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (9.20.22)
On the importance of fixing communication errors on defense:
“I think it is a pretty clear common-sense thing to see how important the communication issues to clear up is. If not, we will continue to see what we have seen, and that is something that we are focusing on this week.”
On how the Browns defense can improve on protecting the boundary late in games:
“Like I said before, the communication issues are what we are trying to fix and that is what we are focused on. We are focused on the Steelers, and that is really our official focus. The plays that have happened on the last series we kind of put behind us.”
On how tough it is to play a divisional opponent in the Steelers during the short week:
“It is tough on your body physically, but mentally, I think we have the capacity to do it. Of course, with a short amount of time – I think we have under about 70 hours now – it is about just focusing on the details and focusing on the now and the things that we can control, and that is what we have to do.”
On what happened on the TD at the end of the first half last week:
“Yeah, I will take the blame for that.”
On the Steelers offense:
“It is an offense that has been pretty efficient. An offense that is well-coached. A bunch of guys, a bunch of skill players who are good. They have a decent line. They are a solid team, and they are experienced and able to use those to their benefit.”
