LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (8.4.21)

On how good it feels to be back with the team:

“It feels good. I had to be in quarantine for a couple of days. I am just ready to get back out there as soon as possible. I was always ready to get back out there. I feel good.”

On how frustrating it was to have the start of his rookie season training camp be postponed:

“It was a downer, of course, but you always have to control the things that you can control, and that was something that I could not control at the time. You have to press through it and persevere through it.”

On if not being able to be on the field puts him behind in the learning curve some, despite being able to participate in virtual meetings:

“It does not really put you behind as long as you do the walkthroughs in the house and you make sure that you get extra studying. It was actually a time that I took advantage of being able to open up the playbook even more and watch a lot of the practices and watch a lot of the games. It was not a time where I had a setback or anything.”

On who he talked with during virtual walkthroughs and how often did they occur:

“With the virtual walkthroughs, I do those when the team is actually doing their walkthrough so it is just me. I have the play sheets so I am able to do alignments right and formations right.”

On how excited he is to put on the pads in training camp, given he was known as a big hitter at Notre Dame:

“That is one of the things that I am looking forward to in terms of physicality and in terms of the aggressiveness to be able to display that and show the team what I can do.”

On if he knows when he will be participating in team drills:

“I should be in today a few reps. After that, it is up to the doctors. I believe that I am in a couple of reps today.”
