On if he can feel the energy about WR Odell Beckham Jr. potentially returning to play on Sunday:

“Yeah, it is good to see him on the practice field – he has been on the practice field but to see him getting some reps and running around. He makes some big plays for us. Anytime you can put another dynamic playmaker on  the field, I think it is really just an exciting step for our offense. Obviously, it hurts losing (WR) Jarvis (Landry) for a couple of weeks, but if we can get Odell back, I think that is going to lessen the blow a little bit.”

On Bears LB Khalil Mack:

“He is a really good player, one of the best outside linebackers/defensive ends in the league. The thing with him is that he is so powerful that you have to be ready for his power rushes and his power moves, but he is also very slippery, and he can kind of knife underneath, slip underneath and have some spin moves. He does not just play the pass. He plays the run, as well. That is something that you really have to deal with him.”

On an adjustment having Browns OL shift in and out at LT:

“Each guy has their own little things that you get used to, but I have gotten a lot of reps next to Jed (T Jedrick Wills Jr.) and (G) Blake (Hance) when Jed has been out and (T) James (Hudson III). It is just getting a feel for the guys. Maybe it is one or two plays, but once you get those plays in, you start noticing how they are moving, how they are playing, what guys are doing to kind of attack him and where you can help them.”

On his assessment of the Browns OL through the first two games:

“I think we have done some good things. I think if you look at the run game and kind of advanced metric from there, like yards per carry, efficiency and stuff like that, I think we have done some good things. As a group, we always see plays and yards that we leave out there sometimes, and we want to improve those. Sacks are such a weird number because everybody is involved, but we have had a few sacks in each of the first two games that we have given up as a group, and we obviously want to lower that. Chicago is going to be another big test. They have guys all across the board who are really good so it will be a good challenge for us.”
