DE Myles Garrett (11.11.22)

On how the bye week helped him recover from injuries:

“It did me some good. Feeling better. Feeling stronger. It is feeling like a little bit more security around my shoulder and being able to use it a little bit more.”

On the Browns defense’s confidence facing an explosive Dolphins offense that features Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa and Dolphins WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle:

“We are always going to be confident going into a game. It doesn’t matter who they have. Those are special players that you named, but at the end of the day, we have special players ourselves so we are going to go out there confident regardless of who is opposing us.”

On if he feels reenergized going into the second half and if his personal goals for the rest of the year:

“The goals are the same. I never lost sight of what was happening, the accident, no matter how much time I was going to have off. What if it was 12 games or 10 games, however I was going to be shortened to if anything went worse, I was going to make sure that I could achieve my goals. I still think that we all have our goals ahead of us and everything we want to achieve right in front of us. We just have to keep going and go get it.”

On how Tagovailoa being a lefty and having a quick release impacts the Browns defense’s pass rush:

“Come around from different angles. Maybe I will tackle from the inside, climb left a little bit, or drop a little bit more. I might blitz to the middle. We will see what I have to do to get free and try to make sure that they don’t know where I am at.”

On the Browns defense’s strong performance in the past two games:

“It was two pretty good performances. The last one was pretty darn good, but we can keep stacking on that knowing that they got away with some that we allowed them to have and that we can build upon and make sure that we iron out. It is a fine opportunity to do this against this team who has sprinkles of them. Honestly, those two teams that we played last, they are a little bit reminiscent of them, their uniqueness and their play calling. I don’t want to say anyone is like (Ravens QB) Lamar (Jackson) or (Bengals QB) Joe (Burrow), but the way that they get the ball out quick and how they want to run the ball, it is a little bit of both.”
