DE Myles Garrett (10.14.22)

On how he is feeling after returning from injury to play in last week’s loss:

“Pissed off and ready for another round. Hate losing. This team hates losing. We are just going to keep on going out there and putting our best foot forward and trying to go out there and earn a win.”

On the challenge with DE Jadeveon Clowney out this week:

“That is just someone else that (Patriots Head Coach Bill) Belichick and the Patriots don’t have to key in on. Not having him as a presence as a run stopper and a pass rusher is tough, knowing that they will be able to use their resources in a number of other ways to double and chip us down the line and me. We will just have to find ways to scheme us to get open.”

On how much more difficult his job is on Sunday when he may not be 100 percent and Clowney is not available while facing the Patriots:

“I will tell you on Monday. I am sure he will have something very special for us and probably for me. I am looking forward to the challenge regardless of how I feel. I am excited to go out there and play against that team and go against a coach who is so well known and has such success in the league.”

On if it is frustrating being the most double-teamed pass rusher in the NFL:

“Have to keep on working. Have to keep on fighting. I don’t think it is going to change anytime soon. I am getting a lot of respect from different players and coaches, and they are scheming towards me to try to stop me. It is a huge sign of respect, but I have to show them that it is not going to work. It can’t work every time because I have to go out there and make plays regardless.”
