Browns sign RB Troy Hairston to a reserve-futures contract

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed RB Troy Hairston to a reserve-futures contract.

Hairston (5-11, 245) is officially in his third NFL season out of Central Michigan. Originally signed by Houston as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Hairston has appeared in 18 career games. Last season, he saw action in two games with the Texans and spent most of the season on their practice squad.
