Browns Sign LB Jermaine Grace to Practice Squad (12.19.19)

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed LB Jermaine Grace to their practice squad. To make room, the team released QB Eric Dungey from the practice squad.

 

Grace is 6-1, 223 pounds and in his third NFL season out of Miami (Fla.). Grace was a member of the Falcons’ active roster the first 13 weeks of the 2019 season and spent time on the Seahawks’ practice squad for a week. Originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent in 2017, Grace has appeared in 24 career games (nine starts), accruing nine tackles. This season, he has appeared in 12 games, recording six tackles before being waived by the Falcons on Nov. 29. Grace spent the 2018 offseason and training camp with the Browns. Grace is a native of Miami Gardens, Fla. He will wear No. 48.

 

Dungey spent 10 weeks on the Browns practice squad this season.
