Browns sign DT Kalia Davis and DE Julian Okwara

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have made the following transactions:

Signed free agent (1):

DT Kalia Davis (pronounced kuh-LEE-uh)

Re-signed (1):

DE Julian Okwara

Davis (6-2, 310) is entering his fourth NFL season out of Central Florida. Originally selected by San Francisco in the sixth round in 2022, Davis has appeared in 33 career games with 17 starts. He has registered 41 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one interception. Last year, he started all 17 games with the 49ers.

Okwara (6-4, 250) is officially entering his sixth NFL season out of Notre Dame. Originally selected by the Lions in the third round of the 2020 draft, Okwara has appeared in 51 career games. He has recorded 71 career tackles, 10 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He spent last season on the Browns’ practice squad.
