BEREA, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns have made the following transaction:

DE Julian Okwara (pronounced oh-KWOR-ah) (unrestricted free agent)

Okwara (6-4, 250) is in his sixth NFL season out of Notre Dame. Originally selected by the Lions in the third round of the 2020 draft, Okwara has appeared in 51 career games. He has recorded 71 career tackles, 10 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He appeared in 13 games with the Cardinals last season and logged 18 tackles and one sack.
