Browns place G Colby Gossett on Reserve/Opt-Out list (8.5.20)

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have placed G Colby Gossett on reserve/opt-out*.

Originally selected by Minnesota in the sixth round in 2018, Gossett spent 15 weeks on the Browns’ practice squad last season.

The Browns active roster is currently at 78 players.

*Any player may opt out of participating in the 2020 NFL season for any reason. The player must provide the club with written notice of his election to opt out. Once given, the notice will be irrevocable for the remainder of the 2020 season.*
