Browns elevate DT Sam Kamara and QB Bailey Zappe

 

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have elevated DT Sam Kamara and QB Bailey Zappe from the practice squad. In addition, QB Shedeur Sanders (back) has been added to the injury report with a questionable status.

Kamara (6-0, 272) is in his third NFL season out of Stony Brook. Originally signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2021, he has appeared in 22 career games. He has appeared in 14 games with the Browns from 2022-24. Kamara will wear No. 92.

Zappe (6-1, 215) is in his fourth NFL season out of Western Kentucky. Originally selected by New England in the fourth round of the 2022 draft, Zappe has appeared in 15 career games with nine starts. Last season, he started one game for the Browns. Zappe will wear No. 11.
