Browns elevate DE Robert McCray to active roster (12.21.19)

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed DE Robert McCray to the active roster from the practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team waived DT Brandin Bryant.


McCray (6-1, 273) is a first-year player out of Indiana. Originally signed by Kansas City in 2018, he spent time on the Chiefs’ practice squad last year and spent the past three weeks on the Browns’ practice squad. He is a native of Rockdale, Ga. McCray will wear No. 52.


Bryant recorded two tackles in four games this season.
