Browns elevate CB Tre Avery and CB Dom Jones

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have elevated CB Tre Avery and CB Dom Jones from the practice squad.

Avery (5-11, 185) is in his fourth NFL season out of Rutgers. Originally signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Avery has appeared in 38 career games with Tennessee (2022-24). He will wear No. 28.

Jones (6-2, 192) is a rookie out of Colorado State. He was signed by the Browns earlier this year as an undrafted free agent and has appeared in one game. He will wear No. 37.
