Browns designate DT Mike Hall Jr. for return

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have designated DT Mike Hall Jr. for return to practice. The club also signed TE Tre’ McKitty to the practice squad.

Hall, a second-round pick this year, appeared in four games and recorded four tackles. He was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury on Nov. 16.

McKitty (6-4, 246) is in his fourth season out of Georgia. Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, he spent three seasons in Los Angeles and appeared in 34 games and totaled 16 receptions for 117 yards. McKitty will wear No. 87.

* A player designated for return has 21 days to be activated or must remain on the reserve list for the remainder of the season.
