Browns claim TE Kyle Markway (8.25.21)

Berea, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns have claimed TE Kyle Markway via waivers from the Los Angeles Rams. To make room on the roster, the team waived DE Romeo McKnight.

Markway (6-4, 250), re-joins the club after spending most of the 2020 season on the Browns’ practice squad. Originally signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina in 2020, the first-year player spent training camp this season with the Rams prior to being waived on Aug. 24. Markway is a native of St. Louis, Mo.
