Browns and Jaguars agree to trade

 

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to the following trade:


Browns receive:

CB Tyson Campbell

2026 7th round pick (from Philadelphia)

 

Jaguars receive:
CB Greg Newsome II

2026 6th round pick (from New York Jets)

 

Campbell (6-1, 195) is in his fifth season out of Georgia. Originally selected by the Jaguars in the second round of the 2021 draft, Campbell has appeared in 60 games with 59 starts. He has recorded 297 tackles, 42 passes defensed, six interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He started the first five games this season for Jacksonville and recorded 27 tackles and six passes defensed.

 

Newsome was a first-round pick by the Browns in 2021 and appeared in 59 games. He recorded 178 tackles, 37 passes defensed and three interceptions. Newsome started all five games for the Browns this season and recorded 23 tackles and three passes defensed.
