Browns agree to terms with four free agents

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have made the following transactions:

C/G Elgton Jenkins (pronounced EL-ton)

G Zion Johnson

LB Quincy Williams

TE Jack Stoll

 

Jenkins (6-5, 310) is entering his eighth NFL season out of Mississippi State. Originally selected by Green Bay in the second round in 2019, Jenkins has appeared in 96 career games with 94 starts. He is a two-time Pro Bowl honoree (2020 and 2022) and helped the Packers lead the league in fewest sacks allowed (203) since 2019. Helped pave the way for 1,000-yard rushers in RB Aaron Jones (2019-20, 2022) and RB Josh Jacobs (2024). Jenkins has started games at left tackle, left guard, center and right tackle in his career. Last season he started nine games at center. 

 

Johnson (6-3, 315) is entering his fifth NFL season out of Boston College. Originally a first-round pick by the Chargers in 2022, Johnson has started 65 of his 66 career games. He has started games at both left and right guard in his career. Last season he started 16 games at left guard.  In 2022, Johnson was selected to the PFWA All-Rookie team.

 

Williams (5-11, 230) is entering his eighth NFL season out of Murray State. Originally selected by Jacksonville in the third round in 2019, Williams has played for the Jaguars (2019-20) and Jets (2021-25). He has recorded 607 career tackles, 12.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, 28 passes defensed and one interception. He has registered four 100-tackle seasons. Last year, he started 12 of his 13 games and recorded 82 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Williams was named a first team All-Pro in 2023.

 

Stoll (6-4, 245) is entering his sixth NFL season out of Nebraska. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by Philadelphia in 2021, Stoll has appeared in 76 career games with 32 starts with the Eagles (2021-24), Dolphins (2024) and Saints (2025). Last season, he appeared in 15 games and recorded six receptions for 46 yards with one touchdown.
