Pre-scrimmage media event: The Cleveland Browns Foundation will make a special education-focused announcement during a press conference at 2 p.m. in the Lake Club (north side of FirstEnergy Stadium). Dee Haslam and Browns alumnus CB Michael Lehan, who is currently a principal at Osseo (Minn.) Senior High School, will speak at the event, along with other distinguished guests representing Cleveland and Ohio.
Credentials: Media who are approved to cover Browns training camp on an everyday basis will be on the team’s credential list for the event. For additional media members who are interested in attending the Orange & Brown Scrimmage, each media organization’s designated contact should e-mail Rob McBurnett (RMcBurnett@ClevelandBrowns.com). All requests should be sent no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Media will collect their credentials upon entering FirstEnergy Stadium from the North VIP/Media Gate, located in the pavilion on ground level of the northwest side of the venue.
Parking: Limited media parking will be available in the North Coast Harbor Lot (yellow lot on Browns gamedays). To request parking passes or space for a SAT Truck on Al Lerner Way, please contact Rob McBurnett (RMcBurnett@ClevelandBrowns.com).
Access: All credentialed media will have the option to view the Orange & Brown Scrimmage from the press box or sidelines. Media on the sidelines are permitted inside the 30-yard line toward each end zone and are asked only to use midfield as a walking path to reach the opposite side.
Head Coach Freddie Kitchens and select Browns players will be available to media in a group setting shortly after the post-scrimmage autograph session.
Media policies: All Browns training camp media policies for practices in Berea apply to the Orange & Brown Scrimmage. Please contact Browns communications with questions.
Live shooting/streaming: All live shots should be arranged with the team’s communications department. Live streaming of the Orange & Brown Scrimmage is not permitted, but local news stations may submit a request to conduct live hits from the sidelines before, during and/or after the event.
Press dining: A meal will be provided to credentialed media at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the press box.
