LB Sione Takitaki (11.17.22)
On challenges with Bills QB Josh Allen’s ability to run the ball:
“Josh Allen is a great player. He can throw the ball really well, but like you said, his legs it’s a whole ‘nother level. We definitely have to tighten up and focus on a lot of stuff, knowing that he can extend drives and just be aware of it while we are out there.”
On how to improve in run defense:
“It comes down to just run fits. That is really all it is: run fits and everybody just doing their job as a unit. There is not really one specific group. As just a unit, we need to be better in our run fits and just doing your assignment.”
On comparing Buffalo and Allen with Baltimore and Ravens QB Lamar Jackson:
“I would say they are a little similar, but I wouldn’t say they really just have a ton of designed runs like the purple and black do. They have some, but nothing like those guys in our division.”
On Allen’s interceptions in recent games and if that could provide opportunities for the Browns defense:
“He has given away the ball. He tries to extend a lot of plays. He is trying to make plays. When our opportunity is there, we have to just make them. It is definitely something that we are aware of and something that we want to capitalize on.”
On if he has played in snow games during his career:
“I had one. I played at BYU. It snows in Utah. I had one, but it wasn’t crazy. I hear it is going to be pretty, pretty gnarly. That is exciting.”
