WR Amari Cooper (11.10.22)
On if he is excited to play in his hometown of Miami:
“Yes. It is the place that I grew up. I grew up a Dolphins fan so of course.”
On his all-time favorite Dolphins players:
“(Former Dolphins RB) Ricky Williams, (former Dolphins WR) Chris Chambers, (former Dolphins LB) Zach Thomas, (former Dolphins LB) Jason Taylor and those guys from that era, (former Dolphins RB) Ronnie Brown.”
On if he wanted to play for the Dolphins when entering the NFL:
“I don’t think I ever looked at it that way because I always understood how the draft worked. I think I more so was always excited just about being drafted to any NFL team.”
On if there was a chance the Cowboys may have traded him to the Dolphins:
“I don’t know. (laughter) That is above my pay grade right there.”
On what the Browns offense needs to do to match its production against the Bengals:
“We just have to execute the gameplan. I think the coaches have been doing a tremendous job with giving us a good gameplan like I said before. It is easy for us to execute a good gameplan.”
On takeaways from the self-scout during the bye week:
“I was able to reflect on a lot of stuff that we have been doing and more specifically the stuff that I have been doing. Just looking at my tendencies and stuff like that because I try to put myself in the mind frame of the guys who are guarding me and try not to tip them off too much, and if I feel like I am, I try to change some stuff up.”
