LB Deion Jones (11.9.22)
On the Dolphins offense:
“They are running the ball well and getting the ball vertical. They have been playing fast, getting the ball to (Dolphins WR) Tyreek (Hill) and getting the ball to (No.) 17 (Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle). They have been doing a good job.”
On how the Browns defense can builds upon success in the Bengals game:
“Remember the feeling, remember the way we prepared and then we just take all that and then transfer it into this week.”
On Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa:
“He is throwing well. He is completing passes and extending the plays a little bit. He is finding his guys and making them make the plays.”
On if Tagovailoa is similar to other mobile QBs such as Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and if the Browns defense needs to make a concerted effort to try to keep Tagovailoa in the pocket:
“I feel like they all have their own different style, but in the sense that he could extend the play, he could get the ball downfield and he could also run. It is jut matter of how he is feeling, what he sees and if it is open up field.”
On if he was able to get more acclimated with the Browns defense during the bye week:
“Oh yeah, for sure. The bye week was helpful. Got a chance to settle down, look at the plays, dig a little deep into the playbook and also take some time with my family so that has been good.”
