WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (10.17.22)

WR Donovan Peoples-Jones:

On QB Jacoby Brissett’s message to the team after yesterday’s game:

“It is what we needed. His message was a great message. It is what we need to hold everybody accountable to, and everybody needs to listen to what he said and follow along.”

On if teammates rally around one another if a player had a difficult game or stretch:

“Yeah, we are a team. We have feed on each other, we have to build each other up and we have to get through this together.”

On if when watching the film of yesterday’s game there were more opportunities to make big plays:

“Yeah, they are there. We have to continue to – it is everybody included, all-11 and every individual on the offense – we have to do better. That is what we are going to do. We are going to continue to get better. We are going to continue to improve, listen and do whatever we have to do to make those opportunities worth it.”

On where he can improve as he has continued to make contested catches in games:

“I can continue to make the hard plays. I can continue to block for our runners. We have great runners. I can continue to do everything my team needs to be, whether that comes in little ways or it comes in different ways that maybe the public does not see. I can be a better teammate. I can push guys in practice more. There are a lot of different things that I feel like I can do and that I will do so that we can be better.”

On if Browns teammates, including himself, are able to call each other out and/or help boost each other:

“I think we all can. I think we can all hold ourselves to a very high standard, and with that comes accountability.”
