On if he will play on Sunday:

“We will see today. Day by day still. Will do individual [drills] today, and we will see how the body is feeling.”

 

On if the state of his body has improved over the past few days, including the long weekend off after the Thursday night game:

“Oh, yeah. You have to define ‘day off’ (laughter). You still have to rehab. You still have to do active recovery. Yeah, I feel like it is going to get better each day.”

 

On the Falcons’ use of RPOs, zone rad and other schemes in their offense and how that impacts his role:

“They have a bunch of dynamics. They have a big running back (Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson) and a fast quarterback (Falcons QB Marcus Mariota). It is a tough challenge. We are looking up to it and see if we can stop that and slow it down.”

 

On Falcons TE Kyle Pitts being a ‘unicorn to deal with’:

“Unicorn, that is funny. He is a dynamic player. Very versatile in his approach to the game. He can block. He can run routes well. He is fast. He is a guy who is very athletic. It is a unicorn-type of a situation. Like I said, we have a gameplan we put together, and we will see if we can slow that down.”

 

On the number of injuries sustained on the Browns defense recently and if he will push himself more to play based on the game status of other member on the unit this week:

“The NFL, like we have said, is a game where if someone goes down, somebody else has to step up. That is just what we are looking to do. Whoever is in those certain locations, whether it is (DE) Alex (Wright) or whether it is different people at the corner position, it doesn’t matter who at the position of who goes down, but it is always the next guy who must step up. That is our responsibility and that is our job.”
