On if he feels more prepared for this season than past seasons:

“Yes, I do. I believe we put in the correct work every day in camp. We were very smart, and we worked hard. I believe we are prepared, yes.”

 

On likely having more opportunities in the passing game this year:

“Very excited. Any opportunity, I am excited, and I am ready to do whatever I can do to help the team.”

 

On if he could tell throughout training camp and preseason that he was going to get more chances in the passing game this year:

“Yeah, of course. Just by the way practice is going, I am out there more often than the past obviously so yeah, I am excited.”

 

On if he knows anything about TE Jesse James:

“Of course. Of course. I remember seeing him my rookie year when he was in Pittsburgh. He is a great talent so I am excited that he is with us.”

 

On if his chemistry with QB Jacoby Brissett has grown over the past couple of weeks:

“Absolutely. Absolutely. It is always important to get with your new quarterback whenever you have a new quarterback on the team and work on that chemistry because it matters, I believe. I feel like we are starting to know more of each other as each day goes by so yeah, that is exciting, also.”
