Browns sign DT Tracy Sprinkle (8.3.19)

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have signed DT Tracy Sprinkle. To make room on the roster, the team waived CB Jermaine Ponder.

Sprinkle (6-3, 285), officially a first-year player, spent last offseason and training camp with the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent, but was waived during final roster cuts. He went on to be a member of the Alliance of American Football’s Atlanta Legends and was most recently a participant in the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie minicamp. The former Ohio State Buckeye is a native of Elyria, Ohio and attended Elyria High School.
