Browns designate LB Jacob Phillips for return (12.6.21)

BEREA, Ohio — The Cleveland Browns have designated LB Jacob Phillips for return from injured reserve. In addition, the team placed TE Stephen Carlson on reserve/COVID-19.

 

Phillips, a third-round pick in 2020, appeared in nine games last season and recorded 24 tackles. He was placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury on Sept. 1.

 

 

*A player on injured reserve is allowed to return after missing only three games, and teams may return an unlimited number of players from injured reserve throughout the year.
