On if he ever gets worried about RB Kareem Hunt potentially exposing too much of his body:

“When Kareem is on the field, he is going to give it his all. Those guys who have to tackle him, they know they have a challenge. The only thing we are concerned about and we stress every day is ball security.”

On Hunt being good at ball security:

“He is. He is going to give everything he got to get every yard and every inch he can get.”

On how nice it is to have Hunt when RB Nick Chubb is slow to get going or struggles early like last week:

“I would not say Nick struggled. Going into that ball game, we knew it was going to be tough running against those guys. They had only given up less than 80 [rushing] yards their first couple of ball games so we knew it was going to be tough sledding. We thought the second half we would be able to wear them down a little bit, and that is what we did.”

On he can help teach patience when Chubb and Hunt may have lower rushing production early in a game or if the RBs just each other get going:

“That is our system. We are running a zone system. We have to wear these guys down. Patience is the key because defensively, those guys are keying the running backs. We have to try to stress our run tracks and get guys to go where we want them to go in order to be able to make the cuts we need to.”

On RB Demetric Felton and Felton splitting time between the RBs and WRs room:

“Right now, serving as (WR) Jarvis’ (Landry) replacement, I think he is doing a pretty good job. When he was in the running back room, he was able to make some things happen. We thought we drafted an athlete, and he has proven to be exactly that.”
