WHAT:
As part of the team’s commitment to youth and high school football through Browns Give Back, the Cleveland Browns will host the 2020 Showcase, in association with Xenith, in the team’s field house this weekend. Expanding on the annual High School Showcase, this year’s event has grown to incorporate Combine-style drills and testing for athletes from K-12th grade for the first time, allowing overall participation to more than triple in 2020.
The new three-day Showcase format features various age groups competing in timed tests (e.g., 40-yard dash, broad jump, shuttle run), position-specific drills and agility work. On Saturday, the 200 high school participants will be joined by personnel evaluators representing approximately 20 local college programs and scouting services.*
Returning in 2020, the Showcase will host an evaluation period specific to specialists. Browns alumnus P Reggie Hodges (2009-2012) will lead the kickers’ and punters’ sessions as they display their abilities.
The Cleveland Browns 2020 Showcase is in association with Xenith. Throughout the event, University Hospitals certified athletic trainers will be onsite to support the student-athletes, while Gatorade will also help keep the participants hydrated throughout the day’s activity.

First and Ten – Launched in June 2014, the Cleveland Browns First and Ten campaign is the team’s community program, established to inspire fans to #give10 and help their communities by volunteering for 10 hours each year.
