Browns sign K Andre Szmyt to practice squad

BEREA, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns have signed K Andre Szmyt (pronounced Schmidt) to the practice squad and released DT T.Y. McGill from the practice squad.

Szmyt (6-0, 200) is officially in his first NFL season out of Syracuse. Originally signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Szmyt spent 2024 with the St. Louis Blackhawks of the UFL. He will wear No. 10.
